Education & Workshops
Staying up-to-date in the tech world can be a challenge for even the brigtest minds. My strategy is to focus on fundamentals so that when faced with a new technology or problem space, I have a solid foundation to start from.
I'm not going to help your team learn and practice the latest and toughest algorithms, or how to overengineer solutions for hypothetical scenarios that might or might not happen.
What I am going to do is teach and show, from many years of experience, how to build software and saas products for the real world. How to make trade-offs and prioritizations, so your team doesn't go down technical paths that leads to nowhere. A busines oriented development approach.
Online Workshops
This is a hands-on approach to software engineer training online that will be tailored to your team's needs. I will prepare a case that I, together with your engineers, will solve while exploring different options and strategies, giving them the toolbox to excel your business.
I have experience building teams consisting of software engineers early in their career, teaching the difference between university and real-world applications. There will be no long and boring power-point presentations but a few intense days where afterwards your team will be better equipped to deal with uncertanties inherently present in solving business problems.
Your team will be better suited to answer:
- What's the minimal amount of code to solve xyz problem
- How do we choose between multiple technical options
- How to push back against unnecessary complexity
- How to build solutions for the current business needs that can scale later

Educational Material
This option is relevant when you want a training problem for onboarding software engineers early in their careers, but don't have time to commit to a workshop.
I will create a series of videos that covers the topics your team would like to improve on. This way, your team can learn from the training program when both business and time constraints allow it. You can check out free samples here.
Potential topics:
- Simplifying infrastructure and tailoring it to the business needs
- Iterative approach to building the right features
- From development to production
- Deeper understanding of your tools
